Outdoor Dining in Duck, NC
Eventide – One of the newer additions to the Duck dining scene, Eventide serves up epic sunset viewing, paired with unbeatable wine selections, charcuterie boards, and quite possibly the world’s best pimento cheese.
The Tap Shack – One of the larger outdoor entertainment areas in Duck, the Tap Shack is a fan favorite behind Coastal Cravings in central Duck. Enjoy frosty brews and a great atmosphere!
Red Sky Cafe – Located next to our Duck office, Red Sky has recently expanded their outdoor dining area. Hang in the shade under an umbrella and snack on some of the most delicious food in Duck (the shrimp n’ grits are a must-try.)
NC Coast – The sister restaurant to Red Sky Cafe, this soundfront spot is quickly becoming one of Duck’s hottest restaurants, featuring amazing water views and unique cocktails and dishes.

Salt Box Cafe – Tucked back in Colington, The Salt Box cafe is off the beaten path, but certainly worth a visit. Their screened patio is the perfect place to eat some of the best (and freshest) seafood in town.

Basnight’s Lone Cedar Cafe – With covered and open outdoor areas, Basnight’s offers plenty of al fresco options to enjoy classic seafood dishes. Located on the Nags Head Causeway.
