    The Town of Duck Fourth of July Parade was a tremendous success.  In its eighth year, the vibrant parade meandered by oceanfront and ocean side vacation rental homes, with over 8000 people standing along the sidelines.  The Duck parade is the largest 4th of July parade on the Outer Banks. In fact, ABC news included it in their list of the best small town to celebrate Independence Day. What’s more, this year Duck marks its tenth anniversary as a town this year and the Fire Department has been servicing the community for 30 years this year!
