Duck, North Carolina Sidewalks

The Town of Duck is in the news again—this time for receiving a $25,000 state grant to enhance our pedestrian walkways. The grant, which has been running for nine years, helps NC cities and towns create a comprehensive plan for expanding their pedestrian and bicycling opportunities. Since 2003, $3.6 million has been awarded through this grant program. Duck is already known for being pedestrian friendly. The sidewalks and boardwalk along the sound can get you anywhere in the town.
