Bright and bold, Carolina Designs Realty proudly presents this year’s catalog. Newly improved with a bound edge, the catalog exudes an extremely professional presentation of vacation rental homes on the Outer Banks. The catalog is a nice accompaniment to our state-of-the-art web site featuring homes from Corolla to South Nags Head, North Carolina. The catalog is displayed by area, advertising the homes within that area with pictures, a description and pricing. There are area maps in each section showing where the vacation homes are located.
If you are traveling to the Outer Banks for the holidays, remember thatNorth Carolina travelers can dial 511 for information about road conditions and traffic delays caused by accidents or bad weather. The new toll free service is available statewide 24 hours a day and uses speech-recognition technology to retrieve information from the North Carolina Department of Transportation Web site database converting it to speech. Travelers verbally respond to options presented by the system and are led by a ‘drill-down’ process to the information they seek.
Kitty Hawk, Southern Shores and Nags Head local volunteer firefighters along with the Duck Volunteer Fire Department took advantage of some training opportunities on Saturday, December 16th in Duck. The future site for the Town of Duck’s town Hall required the demolition of the old Herron’s Restaurant building. This was a controlled burning exercise where the firefighters received instructions on different techniques on keeping the flames under control. Now, the site is cleared and ready for construction.

There are quite a few oceanfront homes, semi-oceanfront and oceanside vacation rental homes that will be scooped up in no time.
