Author Carolina Designs Realty is sponsoring a “horse” in the 3rd Annual Night at the Races benefit for the Corolla Wild Horses Foundation Saturday, march 17th from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. For your ticket price you will receive $30.00 in play money to bet on six races, heavy hors d’oeuvres, participation in lady’s and gentlemen’s hat contest, and winners and losers prizes. There will be a cash bar, silent auction, etched wine glass sales, and raffles!

The Housekeeping Department celebrated the season with their annual holiday gathering in Elizabeth City on December 3rd. During the celebration we expressed our gratitude to all of the cleaners and inspectors that have worked hard all year.
We are very fortunate to have Deborah Stone, Housekeeping Manager, and her very capable staff managing a team of over 300 housekeepers and inspectors to ensure extremely clean and well equipped vacation rental homes. General Manager Michelle Layne and Deborah Stone are certified Vacation Rental Housekeeping Professionals (VRHP)., a professional association of vacation rental companies that strives to increase the quality, service level, and professionalism of housekeeping to both vacation rental homeowners and vacation rental guests.

The Outer Banks Home Builders Parade of Homes will be hosted from October 6th – 9th . The tour of 16 newly constructed coastal homes features designs with new technologies and best building practices
All Parade homes are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. These homes are diverse in form and function, each offering a unique representation of life at the beach.
View them on your own timetable, as this year’s homes are scattered from Corolla on the north beach to south Nags Head, a more compact route than in recent years.
All proceeds from the tour support the Outer Banks Food Pantry.

Some of our beloved Carolina Designs Realty family members, Monica, Ryan and Michelle Thibodeau as well as cousins James and Elaine Hunter, rubbed elbows and shared their musical talent with The Crowd (formerly 3’s A Crowd) featured band at 
the Summer Music Series Concert last evening.
In its fifth season and in the seventh week running, this popular event features local musical groups taking the stage at the Duck Town Park Gazebo. The concerts begin at 6:00 p.m., and are on Thursday evenings from June 23 through August 11.
The Global Soap Project provides recycled soap, a simple concept that provides enormous benefits, to meet the needs of vulnerable populations throughout the world.
On behalf of our housekeepers at Carolina Designs Realty, we are pleased to participate in the collection of discarded soap by our weekly rental guests and contribute in this effort that will save lives and reduce our waste.
