Participating in a Great Cause

May 22nd, 2009

Recently, Monica Thibodeau, owner and Principal Broker of Carolina Designs Realty, participated in a fund raising event for New Life Mobility Assistance Dogs (NLMAD) by donating a week’s stay in their vacation rental home in Duck.  The lucky winners are board members and puppy parents of the organization, Jim and Sue Taylor, who enjoyed their stay in #023, Seahawk, a lovely five bedroom Oceanside home the week of May 9th.

Since 1997, NLMAD, a non-profit organization, has been reaching out to disabled people with mobility limitations and providing them with an opportunity to become as independent as possible with the help of an assistance dog.  The dogs in the program are rescued from a local animal shelter and receive intensive training.

Delivering Superior Customer Service

May 8th, 2009

The foundation of any successful business is outstanding customer service. In the vacation rental industry, this includes every detail from the start to the finish of a guest’s visit. Carolina Designs Realty works as a team with our homeowners to provide top-notch service, beginning with the ease of making reservations online 24 hours a day or by telephone with one of our knowledgeable reservations specialists 7 days a week. Next, guests check into high quality, well maintained vacation homes that reflect the homeowners dedication to satisfaction. Our housekeeping and maintenance staff strive to ensure that each home is properly prepared for every single guest, both in-season and off-season. When problems do arise, every effort is made to have them corrected within 24 hours. Sometimes service recovery is necessary, and each guest concern is taken seriously and treated with respect. Finally, we make it easy to pre-reserve for the following year as the guest departs at the end of a relaxing ocean vacation.

We believe that having a positive “can do” attitude and a commitment to doing the right thing for our guests sets us apart from the competition.  Each member of our staff is dedicated to providing superior customer service that will bring guests back to your homes year after year, and we are proud to work alongside our homeowners to meet this goal.
