SOLD! SOLD! SOLD!

September 7th, 2007

It’s not all doom and gloom on the Outer Banks real estate market these days.  When comparing 2006 sales data to 2007 year-to-date sold volume, we see a definite increase in units sold, as well as a marked decline in the median sold price of homes.  The success of our weekly Home Buyer’s Chat is another clear indication that buyers and investors are back on the Outer Banks.  The attendance is strong and these prospective buyers are asking intelligent questions, meeting with lenders and scheduling appointments to pre-view our listed homes.

Carolina Designs Realty is pleased to be on the forefront of this new wave of activity, positioned as one of the top 10 companies for 2007 sales volume, and with a modest four agent staff, this is a proud accomplishment!  Congratulations to Fran Kapinos for ranking # 6 of all OBX agents for her closing sales volume year-to-date in 2007.  Gray Berryman is also moving into prime position with three listings sold in July and August and six properties currently under contract.  We attribute this success to the hard work and synergy between our rental and sales departments to position our listings as strong investment properties.
